FR4 is a premium composite material with Flame Retardant properties, manufactured by combining high-strength woven fiberglass cloth with epoxy resin. The number '4' in its name represents the material's fire resistance standard; with its flame-retardant and self-extinguishing structure, it is indispensable for safety-critical projects. Thanks to its outstanding electrical insulation values and dielectric strength, it is considered the industry standard primarily in PCB (Printed Circuit Board) production, as well as in electrical panels, transformer insulation, and high-voltage equipment. Featuring near-zero moisture absorption and high mechanical rigidity, FR4 maintains its dimensional stability even under harsh environmental conditions.
